Official Blurb -

Becca Chandler is suddenly getting all the guys - all the ones she doesn't want. Ever since her ex-boyfriend spread those lies about her. Then she saves Chris Merrick from a beating in the school parking lot. Chris is different. Way different: he can control water just like his brothers can control fire, wind, and earth. They're powerful. Dangerous. Marked for death.

And now that she knows the truth, so is Becca.

Secrets are hard to keep when your life's at stake. When Hunter, the mysterious new kid around school, turns up with a talent for being in the wrong place at the right time, Becca thinks she can trust him. But then Hunter goes head-to-head with Chris, and Becca wonders who's hiding the most dangerous truth of all.

The storm is coming.
LOVED IT! I could not put this book down, read it in one day. It only took a couple of pages and I was hooked. The characters are compelling. The drama is deep. I had suspicions about so many people but at the same time they all seemed like they could be a good person. The romantic triangle is a tough choice or at least it is built to be that way. There is so much emotion and depth to the characters. The book is well written.
There is a wealth of great dialogue but sadly they don't make for the best quotes since they are very involved. You have to understand the moment to understand why it is funny.
The only down side of this book is the cover. When I first saw the book I passed it up based on the cover. I didn't even bother reading what it was about. But after a recommendation by a friend I took the time to see what all the fuss was about. So even though the cover looks like it is out of the eighties the story is much better and not at all cheesy.
I have been waiting for this book for a long time. It was awesome and well worth the wait. I can't wait to see what will happen next.
