Masque of the Red Death: ARC Giveaway

Masque of the Red Death
Bethany Griffin

Everything is in ruins.

A devastating plague has decimated the population. And those who are left live in fear of catching it as the city crumbles to pieces around them.

So what does Araby Worth have to live for?

Nights in the Debauchery Club, beautiful dresses, glittery make-up . . . and tantalizing ways to forget it all.

But in the depths of the club—in the depths of her own despair—Araby will find more than oblivion. She will find Will, the terribly handsome proprietor of the club. And Elliott, the wickedly smart aristocrat. Neither boy is what he seems. Both have secrets. Everyone does.

And Araby may find something not just to live for, but to fight for—no matter what it costs her.
I am finished with my ARC of Masque of the Red Death. My review is posted so now is the time to pass it on to someone else. I just can't keep it around it is like the sound of a beating heart under my floor boards. I might go crazy.

  1. I've been hearing mixed reviews about this book, but it sounds very intriguing to me. I'd like to make my own decision about it! :)

  14. I love everything by Poe -- But there is a poem that I truly love, "A Dream Within A Dream" --Is life all that it seems or is it a dream within a dream... very introspective and haunting.

  15. You know, I don't know if I have read enough Poe to have a favorite. I have really only read Tell-Tale Heart and The Raven.

I do have a Poe story though. I have a Sleep Sheep. It's a super soft stuffed animal that has a noise maker in it that babies have in their cribs (why I am 25 years old. Why do you ask?). I usually keep it on ocean. The Sheep sits at my headboard.

One night as I was reading my book I accidentally rammed my head into the Sheep and activated the heartbeat sound. My first reaction was to look at the floorboards.

The Sheep has forever after been called Poe.

    Thanks for the giveaway!
