Sweet Evil: Giveaway

Sweet Evil
Wendy Higgins

What if there were teens whose lives depended on being bad influences? This is life for sons and daughters of fallen angels in Sweet Evil.

Tenderhearted Southern girl, Anna Whitt, was born with the sixth sense to see and feel emotions of other people. She’s aware of a struggle within herself, an inexplicable pull toward danger, but it isn’t until she turns sixteen and meets the alluring Kaidan Rowe that she discovers her terrifying heritage, and her will-power is put to the test. He’s the boy your daddy warned you about. If only someone had warned Anna.

A cross-country trip to meet her father forces Anna to face the reality that hope and love are not options for her kind. When she confronts her destiny, will Anna embrace her halo or her horns?

I absolutely loved this book even against my better judgement. Wow, that sounded just a bit like Mr. Darcy. It was awesome and I want to spread some evil around. Someone out there needs to be corrupted by a rendezvous with this book.

This will be my first giveaway that is international.

Wahaha. . .there I have done my part in the whole evil scheme of it. (More evil laughing)

  1. I only caught a glimpse of the comment prompt before it went away for some reason. Why is the good side always weaker? That's easy: because they refuse to break the rules.

  2. I think the good side is often seen as weak because they have a weak heart to help everyone that is need of a hand.

  3. I think the good side seems weaker because the bad evil side usually shows tremendous strength. That in turn makes the good side seem weaker. But overall, the good side is stronger.

I think it's because people are often good because it comes from an outside force - what other people expect of them, what's acceptable.

Sometimes the bad side is an expression of what one really wants regardless of what other people think.

  5. Because the good side always has good intentions, and the bad side has nothing to lose.

  6. The good side always seems weaker because the bad side is willing to do things that are way worse then what the good side would ever do.

  8. The bad side has not rules or boundaries and the good side always tries to make sure no one gets hurt:)

  9. because the bad side doesn't care what they do or who gets hurt in the process and the good side tries to do the right thing so no one ends up hurt.

  10. The good side is always worried that they will hurt someone or do something unethical whereas the evil side has no such worries.

  12. The Good tends to appear weak, just as art imitating life. Is it easier to be bad and go with the flow, or is the good decison always harder? The appearance is not necessarily the truth, for it takes a strong personality, a strong sense of self, a certain blind faith to do what is good, what is right.

  13. Because there is a limit to what "good" will do to get the desired outcome. Where "evil" will go balls to the wall to get what it wants.

  14. The good side seems weaker because they care about people, where the evil side doesn't care who they hurt to get what they want. The good side's gentleness is perceived as weakness, which is why the evil side underestimates the good, and (most of the time) fails. In books anyway.

  15. I think that it is harder to be on the good side a lot of times, because doing whats right is always harder than doing whats easy!!! So I feel that they appear weaker but in the end they should come out stronger!!!
